The Favorite RETLAW COMBINE 101 The Carolwood Limited Fundraiser Event Taken off the
rails in 1974 . . . left in storage on
blocks for decades . . . No one has ridden
in this car for nearly 40 years . . . until
NOW!
The Retlaw Combine No. 101, which originall ran a Disneyland, was fully restored, put on the rails AND reunited with the four original coaches Nos. 102 through 105 . . . all in one glorious weekend. Join us at the narrow gauge Pacific Coast Railroad for this historical event. Of all the rolling stock at the park, the Combine was said to be Walt’s favorite because it was reminiscent of the combines and baggage cars where he would take his breaks as a news butcher on various railroads around Kansas City. This special Carolwood event was a fundraiser for the Combine and its yet-to-be-built Car Barn. See the Combine
in action!
Relive the car’s history through first hand accounts. Watch a nearly complete Retlaw One train set roll through the golden California hills. Hear the exhaust of steamers working up a 3.25% grade! Listen to interviews
and comments from Michael Broggie,
Disney Legend Bob Gurr,
Floyd Norman, Terri Hardin, Tim
LaGaly, Bill Barbe, Debra Turner, Larry
Boone, Julie Mikesell, Gary
Oakland, Brian
Ballinger, George Thagard, Randy Uecker,
Jack Bodenmann and restoration
specialist Sean Bautista.
